Stephen Ward is a prize-winning watercolour artist based in County Durham, specialising in vibrant paintings of the towns, cities and landscapes of Durham and Northumberland.

About Stephen Ward

Stephen is a fabulous and very experienced watecolour artist who paints scenes from the local area, capturing a side to well known places in a unique and distinctive way.

Stephen is quite well known for his paintings of Colliery Brass Bands, and at True North we have one of his original brass Band paintings for sale, as well as prints, Greetings Cards, note cards and coasters.

His paintings of Durham University Colleges are also very distinctive, and we also have several available at the shop.
