George Soppitt is a Beekeeper who started beekeeping in 2007. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion that grew in to family business!
About South Durham Honey
South Durham Honey produce 100% unblended raw English honey.
Their main apiary site is next to Whitworth Hall in Spennymoor, the home of Bonnie Bobby Shafto.
They work with local farmers and nature reserves to find specially selected apiary sites to help pollinate Co Durham’s crops and plants through out the spring and summer months producing some of Co Durham’s finest honeys.
We stock a range of South Durham Honey products here at True North, including the hugely popular WIldflower Honey, but also Soft Set Honey and Heather Honey, alongside the truly tasty Honey Mustard!
